Congratulations SoCal Choppers
The 18U SoCal Choppers punched their ticket to the USA Elite Select World Fastpitch Championship at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, FL. The talented group of young ladies went 7-1 out scoring their opponents 46-13. This powerful lineup was tough to stop: Abby Burch 2020(Harding) 10 Hits 1 HR, Abigail Renteria and Aubrey Lee each hitting .500, Lauren Lester 9 hits with 2 doubles and a triple, Rylie Hamilton 8 hits with 3 HR. When it was all over the Choppers’ lineup had a total of 9 home runs. Not to be out done by the offense the defense came to play as well, starting with a tandem pitching staff of Abby Burch(Harding University) and Maddie Chalenburg(Univ. Arkansas-Monticello). Chalenburg pitches 19 innings allowing 10 hits while posting an ERA of just 1.842. Burch faces 75 batters in 18 innings of work allowing only 1 walk and holding down an impressive 2.3 ERA. With a team defensive Fielding percentage of .983 and opponents batting only .218 the SoCal Choppers limited the opponents to less than 2 runs per game. Congratulations Ladies!!!

The game of softball teaches us to compete, but it is the struggle of failure that is our biggest teacher. By embracing failure as a teacher and not because of something done wrong, our athletes will be better prepared for the next level.

With some of the best athletes in Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma the So Cal Choppers are poised to take on the top teams thought the country. The So Cal Choppers will serve McKinney, Plano, Rockwall, Heath, Forney, Texarkana, Paris, Allen, Dallas, Wichita Falls, Garland, Coppell, Lewisville and may other north Texas communities as well as families and student athletes in Little Rock, Conway, Bryant, Cabot, Fayetteville, Hope, Beebe, Benton, Bentonville, and Rison in Arkansas, with some of the most competitive schedules in the country.

So Cal Choppers players will always promote the concept of RESPECT in everything they do.

RESPECT yourself

  • One can never value anything until they see value in themselves
  • The first person you must love is yourself
  • Self-confidence is infectious, embrace it
  • RESPECT your opponent

  • Without another team you can't play the game, the other neam is never the enemy...they are your friend
  • The other team has sacrificed too, honor them with your best effort
  • RESPECT the game

  • Sacrifice is nothing new others have paved the way, your BEST effort is a tribute to them
  • The game was played before you and will be here long after you have stopped playing, leave the game better than it was when you decided to play

  • “Somewhere behind the athlete you've become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back... play for her.” — Mia Hamm

“Try not to get lost in comparing yourself to others. Discover your gifts and let them shine! Softball is amazing that way as a sport. Everyone on the field has a slightly different ability that makes them perfect for their position.” – Jennie Finch

“The Separation is in the Preparation.” – Coach Bean
