Lee’s Pitching Academy Students Shine
Elizabeth Schaefer and McKinley Mann, both of Rockwall shine at the Sydney Littlejohn Pitching Camp at Rockwall High School.

Elizabeth, a 2022 Freshman at Rockwall High School, was recently added to the Varsity For the softball season. Armed with a 63 mph Fastball, 60 mph drop, 44 mph change; there are high expectations for her to help the Lady Jackets. Schaefer has been rated as one of the top pitchers in the country by FloSoftball and Extra Innings.

McKinley was the youngest pitcher at the camp as she is only in 5th grade. However, she continues to have outstanding progress and will be the future Ace at Rockwall High.

Another 5 Star Rating Lee's Pitching Academy

Elizabeth Schaefer Does The Extra
Pitching is an art form. For Elizabeth Schaefer, 2022 Rockwall High School Athlete and Oklahoma State Commit, it is a surgical procedure.

Elizabeth was rated by FloSoftball and Extra Innings as one of the top 5 pitchers in the United States for 2022 graduates. She had already had offers to play for multiple schools across the country and verbally committed to OSU. This was all done before she entered 9th grade. Then she was injured and spent more than 3 months recovering before she could even begin to get back to her old form.

She isn’t back 100%, but workouts like this are quickly getting her back to one of the best softball pitchers around.

Schaefer Takes Her Pitching To The Next Level
After a pitching session, Elizabeth Schaefer (2022’ Oklahoma State Commit) and Lee’s Pitching Academy Student decides to challenge herself a bit further. Schaefer, while working one final day before the Tulsa Elite Summer Showcase decides to push her workout to the next level. The Texas Travelers Gold Pitcher and recently Flosoftball’s #25 ranked 2022 player in the country listed in the Hot 100 shows off her accuracy with multiple pitches while keeping her velocity. Elizabeth has been a student of Rick Lee since 2013.

Lee's Pitching Academy is the home of several recent NCAA Division 1 signees, and we currently coach sixteen varsity pitchers at fourteen area high schools. We are also blessed to have some of the state's most dominant travel-ball pitchers in younger divisions, and are equally proud of those working hard to earn more circle time on league and "rec" teams.

Our primary goal is to maximize the talents of all young athletes who come through our doors, and help fulfill their softball dreams, whether to play at a top national collegiate program, or to be the ace of the team they currently play on. Our techniques will produce maximum velocity, while not compromising the command and control necessary to get good hitters out. We also teach situational pitching so each student not only learns how to throw a variety of pitches, but when and where to throw them.

We teach in a non-stress environment knowing young ladies learn best when encouraged and applauded for their successes, and shown patience when pitching is a struggle.
