My fishing buddy and I fished with David in December 2023 and again in February 2024 on Welsh Reservoir in East Texas. David is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide and knows his stuff. We had tough conditions both days we fished with David, but he managed to find some fish anyway and we had really good days. I would definitely recommend David if you are in interested in catching bass! We plan to fish with David a lot in the future!

He is the best guide on Lake Fork and in all of North East TX. Since 2017 I have fished with him several times per year and have always caught fish ! And 95 % of those times are catching very large numbers of bass and / or very large bass , 5 to 10 lbs. I have never been fishing with David n caught nothing ! He's worth every dollar you pay him !!!! 😃

If you're thinking about going fishing in North Texas and you want to make absolutely sure you hire a great guide who's gonna put you on fish then hire David Ozio. Over the years I've fished a couple dozen lakes all over Texas and hired guides every time. David is by far the best that I've ever had the pleasure of fishing with. Our last outing me and a couple buddies fished with David and me and my buddies boated 217 bass! I'm 64 and have been fishing for over 50 years and that day was the best day fishing I've ever had. Those kinda days are extremely rare and me and my buddies will remember that day forever thanks to David.

David is a great fishing guide... David is knowledgeable, professional, personable and patient. He worked hard to make sure our time on the water was a good one. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone of any skill level. Can't wait to go out again.

David’s guide service was a first class experience. Both of our trips were in the winter and he was able to take us to a body of water that produced great fish, numbers and at a great price. David recognized our ability as anglers (we were all left hand reels), put us in right baits in the right areas to have great days. His dedication and knowledge of fishing is on an extreme high level. He is a former professional bowler and Hall of Fame bowler and it’s that level of professionalism that he brings to his guide service. You will learn from him and he’s also very nice and happy to coach. Can’t wait to fish with him again!

All I can say is WOW!! We had a fantastic trip on the water. David Ozio knew exactly where the fish were and what they weee biting on. My buddy Roland was able to beat his personal best bass twice on the same trip. Our guide never stopped working and made sure to give tips and lessons on lyre retrieval, working the bait, how to land a big fish properly as well as explaining why the fish were acting and feeding the way they were. We are super excited to book the next trip and many more in the future.

Looking for some numbers action today with Shawn and Jake Drennan and my secret hideout delivered to the highest level. No giants on this trip but some serious line stretching fun. These guys learned some new strategies that they look forward to putting into play during their upcoming High School events. Play well boys!!
